Registration Guide

To play Shogun online you have to pass through two registration processes. These are the official game registration and the Shogun player registration. Many people have found this a burden and have encountered many difficulties. So I decided to write this concise guide.

EA Registration

This is the first step you have to make: register the game with EA.

Press Register Now! and fill out the form that appears soon afterwards. Take note of the username and password you selected. After you are finished, press submit. Now you have officially registered the game with EA.

Shogun Player Registration

This is the second step to play Shogun online:

Go back here

Fill in the username and password fields. Then login. Here you have three options:

1) Modify Personal Details- for changing the data given before in the EA registration form

2) List Registered Products- see all the games you registered for.

3) Continue Registration

Press on the last one to complete the registration process.

On your screen you have the Shogun Player Registration form. Here you choose a family name, a nickname, a password and a clan. Fill in the information needed and press submit. An e-mail notification message has been sent to you as well. Take not of the family name, nickname and password.

Playing Online

After you receive the e-mail notification, launch Shogun and go to multiplayer; play on EA Play. Choose your previously selected family name and type the nickname and password. Press Connect.

Now you can enjoy the world of Shogun: Total War online.
